Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Ken-Jah Bosley led five players in double figures with 15 points as Kentucky Wesleyan (16-7, 9-1 G-MAC) defeated Trevecca Nazarene (6-14, 3-6 G-MAC) 87-66 Saturday afternoon in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference men's basketball game at the Trojan Fieldhouse.

It was the sixth consecutive win for the Panthers.

In the first half, Trevecca jumped out to a 10-5 lead following a Jordan Bedwell fastbreak layup with 14:57 left.

KWC responded with a 11-2 spurt over the next four minutes and took a 16-12 lead after a Patrick Neel layup.

The Panthers would then hit a momentum-turning 20-7 run highlighted by Devin Langford's three-point shot with 3:14 left which brought the score to 36-19 KWC.ÂÂ

The visitors took a 39-26 lead into the break. Kentucky Wesleyan shot 43.3% (13-of-30) in the first half as compared to a 31.3% (10-of-32) clip from Trevecca. TNU also missed all nine of its shots from beyond the arc.

In the second half, the closest Trevecca would get was 13 points (41-28) following a Bedwell tip-in. Kentucky Wesleyan would go up as many as 21 points on a pair of occasions.

KWC shot extremely well in the second half connecting on 53.1% (17-of-32) of its shots.

David Woodard led all scorers with 20 points, grabbed four rebounds and collected three steals. Byron Sanford recorded a double-double with 14 points and a season-high 12 rebounds while Bedwell chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds. Nick Drake totaled eight points and five assists for the Trojans. As a team, Trevecca shot a season-low 1-of-20 (5%) from three-point range.

Neel, Lonnie Hayes, Donovan Johnson each scored 11 points for KWC while Lucas Barker scored 10 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out a game-high seven assists.

Trevecca returns to action Feb. 13 as it hosts Central State University (12-7, 5-2 G-MAC) at 8 p.m.
