Box Score HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Trevecca Nazarene University men's basketball team (1-2) dropped a 95-70 decision to Alabama-Huntsville (3-0) Monday night at Spragins Hall. The Trojans will play their fifth game in six days Wednesday night at Belmont (1-1). Game time at the Curb Event Center is 7 p.m.

The Trojans got off to a great start, taking a 10-1 lead in the opening minutes, but the Chargers battled back, ultimately taking a 17-16 lead near the midpoint of the first half on the way to a 46-40 halftime lead. A 10-0 run by the Chargers to start the second half pushed the lead to 16, and UAH continued to pull away from there.

Jalen Palm (JR/Louisville, Ky.) paced four Trojans in double figures with 16 points.
Byron Sanford (JR/Louisville, Ky. ) added 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals, and
Tyrell Corlew (JR/Louisville, Ky.) and
Percy Blade (SO/Louisville, Ky.) added 10 points apiece. Blade also dished out five assists and added four steals.

Alabama-Huntsville sophomore forward Seab Webster led all scorers with 26 points.

Trevecca shot 46.4% (26-of-56) from the floor, 44% (11-of-25) from 3-point range, and 50% (7-of-14) from the free throw line. UAH blistered the nets at a 64.7% (33-of-51) clip, including 14-of-25 (56%) from 3-point land, and made 15-of-21 (71.4%) free throws.

The Chargers had a slight 27-26 rebounding edge, while the Trojans actually had the advantage on the offensive glass, 11-4. UAH only turned the ball over nine times, while the Trojans committed 15 turnovers, leading to a 22-10 edge for UAH in points off turnovers. Both benches were productive in the contest, but the Chargers finished with a 36-24 advantage.
