NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca men's basketball team (1-2) lost 69-50 at home to NCAA Division ll No. 16 Christian Brothers University (2-0) on Tuesday night. Milos Macura led Trevecca with 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting. The senior added 3-of-5 shots from beyond the arch.

Trevecca scored the first point of the game, but the Bucs quickly took a 10-1 lead and later led 15-3. Trevecca used a 12-0 run to tie the game at 15. Macura and Maliek Daniels each hit a three in the run and Marquis Rudolph scored four. CBU held off the Trojans for the remainder of the half and though the Trojans cut the lead to one on several occassions, TNU never took the lead. CBU led 37-33 at the break. Both teams were 14-25 from the field in the first half.

A Peyton Henry free throw and a Taylor Ward three pointer tied the game at 37 as the second half began. With 15:30 remaining in the game Daniels scored a pair of free throws to cut the Buc lead to four (46-42). The Bucs pulled away with a 12-0 run and led by 16 (58-42) with 11:18 to go. Trevecca scored just eight points the rest of the way and Christian Brothers picked up their second win in as many tries this season.

Trevecca shot 38.8% (19-49) from the field, 30.4% (7-23) from three point range, and 50% (5-10) from the foul line. CBU outrebounded Trevecca 46-20.

Ward, Nick Drake, and Daniels scored eight and Macura added two blocks and four rebounds to hit totals. Daniels led the team with six rebounds. Rudolph led TNU with three steals.
