Box Score JACKSON, Tenn. - The Trevecca men's basketball team (11-17, 5-11 TranSouth) dropped its regular season finale Monday night, falling to No. 9 Union (25-5, 14-2 TranSouth) 70-57 at Fred DeLay Gym.

The Bulldogs opened the game on an 11-2 run, capped off by a bucket by Antoine Hall with 14:04 left in the first half. The Trojans managed to battle back, pulling to within 26-25 on a 3-point play by
Michael France 4:03 from halftime, but Union finished the half on an 8-4 spurt to take a 34-29 lead into the locker room.
After falling behind 40-33 early in the second half, Trevecca scored seven straight points to tie the game, the first time it had been tied since it was 2-2 in the game's opening moments. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs answered with a 9-0 run of their own, and the Trojans would get no closer than five points the rest of the way.
The Trojans shot 41% (22-54) from the field, 17% (3-18) from 3-point range, and 77% (10-13) from the free throw line. Union shot 43% (26-60) from the floor, 27% (7-26) from beyond the arc, and 92% (11-12) from the charity stripe.
Keith Morris led Trevecca with 17 points and added five rebounds. France was the only other Trojan in double figures, adding 11 points and tying Morris with a team-high five rebounds. CJ Davis led the Bulldogs with a game-high 20 points.

The Trojans will travel to Freed-Hardeman for a quarterfinal matchup in the 2011 TranSouth Men's Basketball Championships Thursday, March 3 at 7 p.m.
