Box Score ROME, Ga. - Trevecca's Michael France became the 37th player in Trevecca history to surpass the 1000 career point mark in Trevecca's loss to #RV Lee University at the Shorter University Christmas Classic on December 30, 2010.

France was three points shy entering the game and reached the milestone with a field goal and a bonus free throw at the 19:01 mark of the first half.

France had nine first half points and led the Trojans with 20 points in the game. France, a junior from Shelbyville, Tenn., reached the mark in his 73rd game in a Trojan uniform.

France now has 1017 career points and is just three points behind former Trojan Marcos Salvi for 35th on the all-time scoring list.

France was a 2009-2010 All-TranSouth First Team selection as a sophomore and was voted the 2010-2011 TranSouth Preseason Player of the Year by league coaches in October. France is averaging 16 points per game this season.
