Tenn. - NAIA No. 16 Trevecca (6-3) concluded their Pre-Christmas
schedule with a 99-44 win over Fisk University (2-8) at Cumberland University
Classic.

Trevecca
scored 17 points in the first 3:48 of the game and led 17-2. The
Trojans hit their first six shots of the game. The game was never in
doubt after that point. After Fisk added a basket, Trevecca added a
11-0 run and led 28-4 with 13:25 remaining in the half. The Trojans led
by 35 (56-21) at the break. Abby Lawson had 12 points, six rebounds,
three rebounds, two blocks, and two steals in the first half. As a team
the Trojans shot 69% (24-35) from the field in the first half.

The Trojans pushed the pace early in the second half with a 20-8 run and led by 48 (77-29) with 10:58 to go in the game. Trevecca held at least a 40 point margin the rest of the game. The final was 99-44.
Elie
London, a native of Lebanon, Tenn., produced a double-double in her
hometown. Elie had 13 points, 11 rebounds, three blocks, an assist, and
a steal in just 15 minutes of playing time. Abby Lawson (12), Angelica
Sails (14), Rachel Raby (11), Destiny Dishman (12), and Christian
Gibson (11) all scored in double-figures. Rachel Raby had seven
rebounds and added three blocks and three steals. Lawson led the team
with eight assists and added three blocks four steals. Chelsey Taylor,
who started, had five assists and two blocks.

Trevecca shot 57% (43-75) from the field, 47% (7-15) from three-point range, and 35% (6-17) from the foul line.

The
Trojans will travel to Florida for a pair of games following Christmas
in the Daytona (Fla.) Beach Shootout. On Monday, December 28 the
Trojans will play Brenau University at 10 a.m.. On Tuesday, December 29
Trevecca will play No. 19 Wayland Baptist (6-3) at Noon.
