Tuesday Hunt comes to Nashville from Lynchburg, Va. and Liberty University where she served as the Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Medicine. A position she held since December of 2017. She joined the Flames staff in July 2014 as Senior Associate Athletic Trainer for Women's Sports. Hunt joined the Trevecca athletic department in July 2018.
Hunt directed the 15-certified athletic trainers in the Liberty Sports Medicine department and personally served the volleyball and men's and women's tennis teams.
Hunt's certifications include the Board of Certification (BOC) and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA), Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers' Association (MAATA), and Virginia Athletic Trainers Association (VATA).
Hunt is a former assistant athletic trainer at the University of Louisville for the Women's Basketball program. The Louisville women's basketball team finished as the 2012-2013 NCAA Women's Basketball National Champion Runner-Up giving Hunt a front row seat as the athletic trainer for the team.
At Charleston Southern University Hunt served the Women's Basketball, Volleyball, and Cheerleading teams in her role as Associate Athletic Trainer and Assistant Athletic Trainer.
Before joining the CSU staff, Hunt served two years as the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer working with Track and Field, Cross Country, Football and Women's Basketball.
Hunt attended Erskine College and earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2006. In 2008, she graduated from Charleston Southern University with a Master's in Business Administration.
She is married to Blake Hunt. Mr. Hunt, who served on the baseball coaching staff at Liberty University and played collegiately at Charleston Southern, recently joined the coaching staff of Jim Toman, the newly named baseball coach at Middle Tennessee State University. Blake Hunt will serve the Blue Raiders as an assistant coach and hitting coach.
