Trevecca Nazarene University

John Radzimanowski joins the Trevecca staff after a season as the head volleyball coach at Battle Ground Academy (Franklin, Tenn.). The Wildcats posted a 19-win season, highlighted by a district championship appearance and a trip to TSSAA Class A Division II Sub State.

Radzimanowski played varsity volleyball at Joliet (Ill.) Township High School. Upon graduation he attended Olivet Nazarene University (Bourbonnais, Ill.) and majored in children’s ministry, while playing for the ONU men’s club volleyball team. John was the team captain his senior season. He began his coaching career that same year for Competitive Edge Volleyball Club (a subsidiary club of Sports Performance).

After college, John and his wife Carly moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to answer his call to Children’s Ministry. Even while being a children’s pastor, John coached three seasons for the Cougar Volleyball club before signing on to be an assistant coach at Kennedy High School (Cedar Rapids, Iowa).

John is an active adult volleyball competitor and frequents USAV tournaments. He was the children’s pastor at Connect Church (Mt. Juliet, Tenn.) prior to coming to work at Trevecca. Carly and John have one son, Joel, and a daughter, Rowan.
