Trevecca Nazarene University

Austin Krause joined the Trevecca Sports Medicine staff in the fall of 2015 and in July 2021, Krause became the Head Athletic Trainer at Trevecca.

He serves as the assistant athletic trainer with primary oversight of the baseball team. He received a B.A. in Athletic Training from Central College and an M.S. in Athletic Training from Indiana State University.

Before arriving at Trevecca, Krause served as an intern with the AAA Iowa Cubs (2013) and AZL (Arizona) Mesa Cubs (2015). Additionally, Krause served as the Graduate Athletic Trainer at Indiana State University, overseeing the university's baseball team. During his time at ISU he also served as the co-medical director for the Missouri Valley Baseball Championship Tournament.

Krause's certifications include the Board of Certification (BOC) and M1 Graston Technique. He is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association.

Austin and his wife, McKaylee, reside in Spring Hill with their two dogs, Banks and Murray.
