With more than 20 years of experience in instruction, operations, and competition, Andrew O'Reel joined Trevecca head golf coach David Head’s staff in spring 2026.
Following his junior career, O’Reel earned an Applied Business degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management from the Golf Academy of America while continuing to compete.
Head said of his new assistant coach, “Andrew is committed to serving student-athletes, fellow coaches, and the Trevecca Trojans, leading with a faith-centered approach.”
His professional background includes roles at Lebanon (Tenn.) Golf and Country Club, followed by Five Oaks Golf and Country Club (Lebanon, Tenn.), The Dunes Golf and Beach Club (Myrtle Beach, S.C.), and most recently The Grove (College Grove, Tenn.).
O’Reel has extensive experience in golf operations, including managing a pro shop as a lead instructor. He is certified in club repair and specializes in equipment fitting.
Before joining Trevecca, O'Reel advanced to head coach for the middle and high school programs at Mt. Juliet Christian Academy, building leadership skills after working in various golf operations roles.
O’Reel resides in Murfreesboro, Tenn., with his wife, Ali, and their three children. They are expecting an additional child in July 2026.
