2020-21
One of the games best was granted an additional season of eligibility due to COVID and Odom did not disappoint ... turned in a .467 (63-135) batting average which led the team and was second highest in the Great Midwest ... played in all 41 games, having never missed a start or game in her TNU career (201 games) ... retires as the Trevecca leader all-time in four statistical categories ... career batting average, runs scored, hits, stolen bases and is second in triples ... held a .541 slugging percentage with a .507 on-base percentage (3rd in Great Midwest) ... scored 35 runs (4th in Great Midwest) and drove in 23 more ... had 63 hits (3rd in Great Midwest) with 10 walks ... stole a league-most 20 bases ... had seven doubles and hit one home run ... named Tennessee Sports Writer's Association Player of the Week on 05.15.21 ... collected a quartet of postseason accolades which include a Great Midwest All-Conference first-team selection ... at the regional level made the National Fastpitch Coaches Association first team ... and the Division II Conference Commissioner's Associations Midwest All-Region first team ... for the third time in her career, Odom became a NFCA All-American.
2019-20
Played in 17 games and was second on the team and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference with a .493 (33-67) batting average ... her BA was the 17th highest in Div. II ... remains the nation's active leader in batting average (.486), and hits (284) ... scored a team-high 23 runs and drove in eight more ... connected for two doubles and two home runs ... drew one walk and stole 13 bases (13-14) ... was a .582 slugger and got on-base every other plate appearance .500 ... Odom's 39 total bases were second-most in the G-MAC ... was named as the G-MAC's first Player of the Week (02.04) by going 11-16 (.688) with 13 total bases, eight runs scored, and three RBIs in the Trojans weekend sweep of #18 Alabama-Huntsville ... once again named to Schutt Sports / NFCA DII Player of the Year "Watch List." ... the 2020 softball season was shortened on March 13 due COVID 19 with the #11 ranked Trojans on a three-game winning streak. Odom added CoSIDA Academic All-American to her honors list for the second year in a row. She is only the third Trojans in any sport to earn the honor, and the first to be selected twice.
2018-19
Started all 47 games as a junior this season ... was a .565 (100-for-177) batter who drove in 23 runs ... scored a team-high 59 runs off nine doubles, two triples, and two home runs ... drew 10 walks and successfully stole 50 bases ... her 50 stolen bases are a Trevecca and Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) single-season record ... held a .672 slugging percentage and a .590 on-base percentage ... in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Odom's numbers were or amongst the best: BA (1st), SLG (3rd), OBP (1st), R (1st), H (1st), TB (3rd), SB (1st) ... her batting average led Div. II softball for most the season, finishing second in that category ... in all of Div. II, Odom was the 5th toughest batter to strikeout along with ranking 1st in hits, 4th in OBP, 4th in stolen bases and 42nd in total bases ... her .485 career batting average is the 2nd highest among active Div. II players ... her career 251 hits (18th) and 98 stolen bases (17th) are also amongst the highest active totals in Div. II ... named the G-MAC Player of the Week for 02-19-19 and 03-19-19 ... also named the Tennessee Sports Writer's Association (TSWA) Player of the Week for 03-13-19 ... prior to the season was named to the 2019 Schutt Sports / NFCA DII Player of the Year "Watch List." ... on 03-25-19 Odom set the Trevecca consecutive hits record with 33 straight games with a hit ... was a top 25 finalist for the 2019 Schutt Sports/NFCA Division II National Player and Pitcher of the Year and later made the top 10 for the prestigious award ... collected G-MAC Player of the Year for the second consecutive season ... was a member of the NFCA All-Midwest Region team as well as the NFCA All-American first-team ... selected to both the Div. 2017-18
Odom started all 42 games she appeared in ... she led the Trojans and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference with a .493 batting average (74-150) ... had a team-best .607 slugging percentage (4th in the G-MAC) ... a team-best .506 on-base percentage (2nd in the G-MAC) ... scored 37 runs which were fifth-most in the G-MAC ... her 74 hits were second-most the G-MAC ... had four triples and six doubles with one home run and 23 RBIs ... stole 22 bases which were fourth-most in the G-MAC ... drew five walks ... named to the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association Midwest Region First Team as a shortstop ... also named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II All-Midwest Region First Team ... also named the TSWA Player of the Week (05/02/18) ... named the G-MAC Player of the Year and the first team All-Conference.
2016-17
Odom started all 54 games she appeared in … she led the Trojans with a .416 batting average, 21 runs driven in, 38 runs scored, and 24 stolen bases … Odom had the fifth-best average in the conference (.416) and the sixth-best on-base percentage (.432) … she was fifth-best in the G-MAC in runs scored (38), fourth in hits (79), and sixth in total bases (89).
HIGH SCHOOL NOTES
The five-foot-nine outfielder played for the TSSAA State Championship at Dickson County High School all four years, finishing as the state champion twice and the runner up twice ... Odom played for Shane Buchanan with the Cougars program and was named All-District, All-Midstate, All-State and All-State Tournament ... Odom batted .551 last year and holds three state tournament records – most hits (14), most doubles in a game (3), and most doubles in a state tournament (6) ... produced a .518 batting average at the state tournament… … played in the TSCA All-Star game and also participated in the Tennessee/Kentucky All-Star Game and was named MVP.
