Part of Presley Ramsey's successful Wildcat program ... a four-time honor student and qualified for the state tournament in each of the last two seasons at DCA ... has been a participant in The First Tee of Nashville program ... played for Alphonso Ashford and Thelma Ewell at First Tee ... earned the Paul Warren Award ... participated in the Life Skills and Leadership Academy in San Diego, Calif., the Nature Valley First Tee Open at Pebble Beach, and Auntie Anne's Leadership Forum at Disney world in Orlando, Fla. ... had several leadership and training opportunities that included: becoming a certified assistant coach, Ace Level participant, Assistant Coordinator for LPGA USGA Girls golf of Nashville, and guest blogger for the First Tee National Blog ... completed in the team challenge cup for the The First Tee of Nashville against the Memphis team in each of the past four years ... Welch and her team won the cup in 2013 ... served as the team captain for the DCA program ... began serving as an assistant coach for The First Tee of Nashville in June of 2013
