Chew finished with a 81.0 season average over her four tournaments and eight rounds of play … her final event was a Top 10 finish, placing eighth at the Kentucky Wesleyan College Invitational where she carded a 75-84=159 … she had season low 74 in her first round of the year at the Champions of Women’s Golf event where she also recorded her best 36-hole total of 74-83=157, she finished 15th of 92 golfers there
2021-2022
Had a season average of 79.42, first on the team and her career-best ... her 19 rounds played are the ninth most in program history ... she played in eight tournaments with a career-best third-place finish, finished third at the Browngolf Intercollegiate, which earned her the Great Midwest Golfer of the Week honor ... finished fifth at the East Tennessee Collegiate with a season-best 152 (74-78) ... had five top 15 finishes during the year ... twice recorded a season-best low round of 74 ... her 26 birdies are the tenth most in a season in program history, her second-best season total.
2020-2021
Played in eight events as a freshman with 18 total rounds and an 80.56 average ... produced her first par or better round with a season-low 72 in the first round of the Findlay Invitational, leading to a 72-77-76=225, her best 54-hole total of the season, and an eighth-place finish in a field of 97, she is just the fifth Trojan to record at least one par-or-better round in a season, her 72 is tied for the seventh-lowest round in program history and the lowest round by any Trojan this season ... her 149 through the first 36-holes at the Findlay Invitational is the tied for the eighth lowest 36-hole total in program history, her 225 is tied for the third-lowest 54-hole total in program history ... her 241 over 54-holes at the G-MAC tournament is tied for the 14th lowest total in program history ... produced seven rounds in the 70's, including a 76 in her first-ever collegiate round, pacing her to a fifth place finish in the East Tennessee Collegiate ... her 80.56 season scoring average is the 14th best in program history and second best on the team last year ... her 31 birdies are the sixth most in a season in program history, most on the team this season, and is tied for the 12th most on the career birdies list.
HIGH SCHOOL NOTES
Played for John Pryor at DeKalb County High School ... recorded a 65 a the regional tournament, the lowest in the state ... her postseason scores as a senior were 73 (District, 65 (Region), 73-78=151 (State) ... her 151 placed her 7th in the TSSAA State Tournament her senior year ... won Regional and District ... finished second at District and third at Regional as a junior ... placed fifth in the SNEDS Tour Masters Division 2019 ranking ... two-time Smithville Review Athlete of the Week.
