Played in nine games and scored three runs ... got a hit in her only plate appearance of the season ...  the 2020 softball season was shortened on March 13 due COVID 19 with the #11 ranked Trojans on a three-game winning streak.

HIGH SCHOOL NOTES

Played for coach Kevin Costley at Mt. Juliet High School in Mt. Juliet, TN ... transferred to Mt. Juliet from Wilson Central where she hit .354 with 14 RBIs and 11 stolen bases ... played travel softball for coach Kevin Costley and the Tennessee Crusaders where she was under the tutelage of former Trojan Angela Sullivan ...  hit .360 with an on-base percentage of .412.

Laney is the daughter of Nick and Wendy Rankhorn.
