Andrea Browning joined the Trevecca softball staff prior to the 2022 season.
Browning comes to Trevecca after serving as the head coach at Tennessee State. She served the Tigers since August of 2017 where after serving one season as the Tigers pitching coach, she was promoted to head coaching.Â
Browning is familiar with Trevecca, she spent her collegiate career at then conference foe Lambuth University in Jackson, Tenn., where she a degree in Physical Education and Health.Â
Prior to her arrival at TSU, Browning spent the 2016 season at the University of North Florida.
At UNF, Browning served as a volunteer assistant aiding the pitching staff, as well as coordinating community service projects, and assisting with the organization and implementation of camps.
Prior to working with the Ospreys, Browning founded and served as the head coach of the Sudden Impact organization, while working as a private homeschool educator.
After graduation from Lambuth, she began her coaching career as an assistant coach at Austin Peay State University for four seasons.
Browning moved to Belmont where she served as an assistant for the Bruins in 2007.
The Franklin, Tenn., native continued her coaching career at Fort Walton Beach High School in Florida, spending four seasons from 2007-11.
Browning earned her Master’s degree in Health and Human Performance – Wellness in Sports Leadership from Austin Peay in 2016.
Browning and her husband Dennis reside in Franklin.Â
