TREVECCA NOTES

2015-16

Played in 9 events and completed 20 rounds of golf with a career-best 75.10 round score which is fourth in school history ... six rounds of golf he shot were par or better which is fifth best in school history ... hit two rounds that were in the 60's ... his best finish on the season was a tie for third at the Dave Falconer Classic with a two round score of 141 ... finished with a 77.0 finish percentage that mark is fourth best in school history ... had 58 birdies on the season third best in school history ... par four scoring of 4.239 second best in school history and a par five scoreing average of 4.8961 which is also second best in school history

2014-2015 

Played in a career-best nine events and completed 22 rounds of golf … his season average of 76.6 is a career-best, which is the 11th best season average in school history … turned in two rounds in the 60’s, both were 69’s shot in the first and second round of the Smokey Mountain Intercollegiate … had four rounds at par or better, which is a tie for fourth most in school history … best tournament finish was a second place at the Smokey Mountain Intercollegiate … his 22 rounds played is a tie for second most in program history … 20 of his 22 rounds counted toward the Trojans official team score and that places him in a tie for fourth most in program history … led the team in birdies with 38, which is 12th most in school-history … his two rounds of 69 tie him for the eighth lowest rounds in program history … his 36-hole total (first two rounds) at the Smokey Mountain Intercollegiate (138) gives him a tie for the best two round total in school history … his 54-hole total of 217 at the Smokey Mountain is the ninth best in program history … also finished 10th at the G-MAC Championships … finished 17th at the Trevecca Invitational (149) … also shot a 149 at The Jewell at Elks Run … shot a pair of 71’s at the TSU Big Blue and had a 54-hole total of 221 … Scarbrough has the third best career scoring average (77.30) in program history … currently has the second best finish percentage in school history (60.2%) … has the tenth most birdies in program history (70) 

 

2013-2014

Played in six tournaments with a 78.27 average over 15 rounds ... had a top 10 finish, ninth (of 59) at the Trevecca Invitational with a 76-75=151 ... shot a season low 74 as part of a 77-74-77=228 at the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate to finish 40th of 82

 

HIGH SCHOOL NOTES

A four-time All-District 6AAA golf selection ... played four years for coach Randy Herring at Cumberland County ... finished second at the Golf Capital Classic at Lake Tansi ... had two sixth-place finishes at the Cherokee Classic and the Keith Maxwell Invitational ... graduated early (December 2012) joined team for spring season as a redshirt
