Brooke Koblitz joined the Trevecca coaching staff for the cross country and the track and field teams in January of 2022. The former University of Georgia Bulldog most recently started and coached the Nolensville High School cross country and track and field programs in 2016.
Koblitz owns a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Mathematics Education from Georgia. She earned those while on scholarship as a varsity athlete on the Bulldogs cross country and track teams from 2011-2016.
In the summer of 2022, she is set to coach at the World Maccabiah Games; she competed in the 2017 World Maccabiah Games for Team USA.
In November 2021, Koblitz finished second (3:00:49) in her first marathon, the Nashville’s Rock and Roll Marathon.
Since 2017 Koblitz has worked as a track and field official through Vanderbilt University. She has officiated at several indoor events at various Vanderbilt Indoor Invitationals, including the SEC Indoor Championships and the TSSAA State Indoor Championships. Â
In the summer of 2016, Koblitz coached at the University of Georgia Track Camp as an Alumni Runner Camp Counselor.Â
From 2016-2021 Koblitz served as the head coach and started the Nolensville High School boys and girls’ cross country and track and field teams while teaching mathematics.Â
In her first cross country season, working with just freshmen and sophomores, Koblitz coached both teams to a region runner-up finish, qualifying both teams in their first season for the TSSAA State Championships.Â
She started both programs at the new school as a Small School Division program but quickly developed them and moved to the Large School Division in their second season.
In every season at Nolensville, Koblitz produced at least one individual to the TSSAA State Championships as a top 10 in the region. This includes cross and track and field. In her final season at Nolensville, she led her girls' track and field team to a third-place finish at the 2021 TSSAA State Championships.Â
Koblitz, born and raised in Alpharetta, Georgia, went to Centennial High School, a three-sport varsity athlete. Those three sports are cross country, track and field, and basketball. As a senior, she became a state champion in the 1600m, a runner-up finish in cross country, and a third-place finish in the 800m.
At Georgia, she competed in the 800m, 1500m, and mile while also running cross country. She scored in the SEC Championships in her final season.
